New features
1. Genius chat knows what you are looking at
Betty Genius now picks up the page, layout, data model, schema model or action you have open. Select a component or open a property, and Genius knows that is the one you mean. Only the relevant part of the open item is sent along, so answers stay focused.
- Value: You can say "make this button bigger" or "make this required" without describing where it is.
- Impact: Shorter prompts, fewer misunderstandings and more accurate edits on the first try.
2. Chat history shows where each message was sent from
Each message now remembers where it was sent from. 'Started in' and 'Switched to' dividers show when a conversation moved to another page, model or action.
- Value: You can read back a session and see exactly what each change applied to.
- Impact: Follow-up requests keep pointing at the right item, even after a reload.
3. Genius handles long prompts and schema models
Long prompts no longer stop Genius from finishing a proposal. Schema model proposals now show up correctly, including when you paste JSON and ask Genius to turn it into schemas.
- Value: You can give Genius detailed instructions and work with schema models without workarounds.
- Impact: Fewer failed or empty proposals in bigger builds.
4. Row selection in data tables and data lists
You can now store selected rows in a custom collection and use them for bulk actions, such as updating a status. A 'Select all' checkbox selects every row on the current page, while keeping selections on other pages intact. Custom collections now also expose a total count.
- Value: You can build multi-row selection and bulk actions, and show how many rows are selected.
- Impact: Common admin and back-office patterns no longer need custom workarounds.
Improvements & fixes
1. Genius chat handles large apps and emoji
Large proposals and messages with emoji no longer end in 'Failed to generate response'.

Value: You can generate substantial applications in one go.

Impact: Proposals are saved properly and survive a page reload.
2. More reliable page generation
Generated pages no longer come out empty when they contain a dialog, drawer, snackbar or popover. Plans that create schema models now apply without the 'has already been taken' error. The component sidebar stays closed while a page is first generated and slides in when it is done.

Value: What you see during generation is what you get in the page builder.

Impact: Fewer failed plans and less manual rebuilding.
3. Price properties and inputs fixed
Price properties created by Genius now use a valid currency, so they open and can be edited in the data model. The Price input no longer breaks in the page builder when a property value is used as currency symbol.

Value: You can view and edit generated price properties and use dynamic currency symbols.

Impact: Removes a 500 error that affected several customer apps.
4. Faster and more stable pages
Data for hidden content, such as a closed drawer or dialog, now loads when it is first shown instead of on page load. A bug that caused endless action calls and re-renders is fixed.

Impact: Less load on the backend and a smoother experience for end users.
5. Model and property pickers
The model search field in the Select model dialog responds again. The list property picker now loads more than ten models. The property modal opens from 'New properties' on an Autocomplete's Before Create interaction. The Load more and Select buttons look consistent.

6. Box background fixes
Switching a Box background to an image no longer breaks the component. Background images set by URL now show in design time.

1. Betty Genius: AI page editing to Genius Chat
Betty Genius AI is getting a major upgrade, rolling out in three releases as capabilities move from the current experience into the new Genius AI experience. This 2nd release focuses entirely on: enabling the AI page-editing capability via Genius chat sessions.
What's included in this release?
- Sidebar prompt box removed: The page-edit prompt box in the page builder's left sidebar is being phased out and consolidated into Genius Chat sessions.
- New chat mode: Genius Chat introduces a new 'Think · Plan · Preview' mode.
- Live preview on canvas: In Preview mode, page changes made via Genius Chat appear directly on the canvas — you can accept or reject them before they're applied.
- Smarter context awareness: Genius Chat now recognizes whether you're editing a page, action, model, etc. This improves the UX and gives Genius AI higher-quality context, leading to better results.

What's included in this release?
- Single-page creation moves to chat: The "Create single-page" prompt will now connect directly to Genius Chat — starting a new prompt for a new page kicks off a new session.
- Image upload support: Use a screenshot or design mockup as input to generate your page.
- Generic file upload in chat: Beyond images, you can now upload files like text or CSV documents — for example, requirements docs or process flows — to kick off a proposal generation in a Chat session.

Wasm Actions x Genius AI
New features
Collapsible side panel in the action canvas.
The side panel with action functions can now slide in and out, and the header icon and title are centred.
- Value: More room to work on large actions without losing quick access to action functions.
- Impact: Available in the action canvas in the IDE.
Improvements & fixes
Improvement: Loop lanes fit their content The loop lane now wraps around empty nested loops and empty condition outcomes, so grouped steps read as one block.
Bug fix: Spaces in value mapping fields Spaces can be typed again in the value mapping input fields of action steps such as Create Record, Update Record, Expression and Log Message.
Bug fix: Correct operators for Time properties Filters on Time properties in action variables now show time operators (before, after, equals) instead of text operators.
