After reading this article you will know:

  • How to add Stylesheets to your endpoint template.
  • How to add Javascripts to your endpoint template.
  • How to set a template for an endpoint.

When you go to the stylesheets tab you can create your own stylesheet. After you save your stylesheet, a Liquid tag will be generated by the platform. To use this stylesheet in an endpoint, you have to create/update the endpoint template. In this example the custom stylesheet is called example. The following Liquid tag is generated to use in the endpoint template:

{% stylesheet_url 'example' %}

This tag is needed in the code to call the stylesheet in the endpoint.

You can see an example here:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="{% stylesheet_url 'example' %}">

In the image below you see how this example stylesheet is loaded into the default bootstrap_layout.

This is almost the same for Javascripts. You can create scripts in the tab Javascripts and call them in the endpoint, similar to the stylesheet.

Javascripts are loaded into the template with the line of code like the example below:
Example:

<script src="{% javascript_url 'example_script' %}"></script>

When you have created a new endpoint template and you want to use it in an endpoint, you have to select it. By default the standard bootstrap layout is selected.
If you want to select a different layout, you can select the template in the settings tab as shown below:
